Rosé 2025

Rosé 2025 is a modern Lake Balaton rosé wine produced using reductive winemaking techniques, highlighting intense fruitiness and fresh aromas. A blend of 75% Kékfrankos and 25% Merlot. The grapes were harvested in the second half of August, when the berries’ aromatics and acidity were in perfect balance.

During processing special attention was paid to gentle handling. Destemming and crushing were carried out carefully, the must was transferred using a peristaltic mash pump to preserve the fruit’s pure character. The grapes underwent immediate pneumatic pressing at low pressure, ensuring that only the finest, most elegant must fraction was processed. Following must clarification, fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 18 °C in a reductive environment, which highlights the primary fruit aromas in the wine. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Fined and filtered before bottling, resulting in a fresh, vibrant rosé wine.

The nose reveals notes of fresh strawberry, raspberry, red currant, and floral hints. On the palate, it is characterized by crisp acidity, a light texture, and harmonious fruitiness, paired with a medium-long, refreshing finish.

Our Rosé 2025 was awarded: Best Balaton Rosé – VinCE 2026 by Hungary’s most renowned wine magazine.

We recommend it as an aperitif, for summer gatherings, with grilled poultry, fish dishes, salads, and light pasta dishes. It’s a delight whether served as a spritzer or on its own.
