We haven't been to the Petrányi Wine Terrace yet, what does the place look like?

First terrace: a cozy, shady resting space under the cherry tree, with solar sails, garden furniture and coffee tables. We recommend it to wine drinkers, hikers and cyclists. You can also eat here at the small coffee tables.

Covered terrace: rain-proof restaurant space with retractable roof and glass windows. In good weather the roof and the windows are open in the evenings, and in autumn and winter the terrace functions as a heated conservatory. It is recommended for lunch, dinner, family celebrations, groups of friends or company events.

Back terrace: Our open-air terrace, which is also sheltered from the rain, is located right beside the vineyard rows and offers stunning views of the Tihany Peninsula.

Indoor restaurant: open in winter and summer, rain-proof panoramic restaurant with a cosy tiled stove in winter.

How can I book a table?

Please call +36 515 7953 from 11 a.m. during opening hours, send an e-mail to info@petranyipince.hu or use our online table booking system! We cannot accept table booking requests submitted via Messenger or Instagram.

How is wine tasting organised?

Join us every Thursday and Friday from 5:00 PM for a 1-hour guided wine tasting, where you can discover the world of our wines. Registration is required. For groups larger than 10 people or corporate events, it is also possible to arrange a custom appointment time. In this case, please contact us at info@petranyipince.hu.

How far in advance should you book?

If you would like to come with a group, at a weekend or in high season, we recommend you to book a table at least one week in advance in one of the above ways. If we cannot provide you a free table, it is worth signing up for the waiting list and we’ll notify you by phone in the event of a cancellation.

How can I buy wine from you?

At our Wine Terrace, guests have the opportunity to purchase wines to takeaway at cellar prices. In addition, our entire wine portfolio is available at the Kincses Bolt on Csopak Beach. We also offer nationwide delivery through our online store, allowing you to order your favourite wines quickly and conveniently with just a few clicks.

How can I pay?

You can pay in cash, by card, with a gift voucher and with SZÉP card. Unfortunately, we cannot accept AMEX cards.

Is your place dog-friendly?

Yes, we also welcome your four-legged pets, but please clean up after them and keep them on a leash!

How can I get to the Wine Terrace?

It is advisable to choose the longer route in the Google map application. Road signs indicate the direction from Balatonfüred or Alsóörs, or use the Waze application. We provide free parking for you. If you come by bus, park it at the Varga Winery, and you can walk to our Wine Terrace in about 15 minutes. If you come by bike, you can use our bicycle racks.

Where can I find the current menu?

Our menu is changing seasonally and can be found here. In addition, we regularly share our special offers on our social media channels, or feel free to ask our service staff about the latest recommendations and seasonal specials.

How long is the table booking for?

One booking is valid for two hours, please inform our colleague if you would like to spend more time on our Wine Terrace.

We would like to celebrate a birthday, can we bring a cake?

Yes. We serve the cake that you bring against a service fee of HUF 600 / person.

Can we organise our wedding at your place?

Yes, we can organise an intimate, family-style wedding lunch or dinner, but unfortunately we cannot undertake large wedding events. We organise weddings for 20-25 people in high season (July, August) and for maximum 80 people in off-season. We can extend our opening hours by a maximum of one hour beyond our regular closing time.
